Well let me be frank with you all -RAGGING????? , never even heard of it at DTU .
You might have spent 2 years or even more to crack the mains and step into your favourite college
only to find out that you were ragged and humiliated by a group of seniors ,so badly that you didn't even have the guts to look at the college entry gate from a binocular - lol !!😄 😆this could be a scenario decades ago ,but now things are entirely!! different .
DTU has an anti-ragging society of itself now, which sorts out issues between seniors and juniors or between batch mates too. they have made certain strict rules and regulations to abide and anyone disrespecting it faces the consequences ,but for now the society reports at most 2-3 minor cases that they have encountered past many years . It proves how friendly seniors are (and this is coming from all the vulnerable first year students, yes all!!).
At DTU we all are like family!! ( fast and furious 😂😂hahaa!!...😅), and the stronger your bonds are with the seniors and fellow batch mates of different groups the more opportunities you get to be a part of something really awesome -could be a society or an event,a fest a sports team or even a party. You see no senior has the time to rag anyone ,people are busy with their own works ,rather they need you all to contribute too, like to join their society,events,fests, or their startup or any tuitions they are providing .I've even heard that people go to gym dreading that they might be a victim of ragging , I mean how sillier can anyone be😂 , its a college guys not any wrestling academy ,these are just rumours you wont get into any sort of trouble until and unless you call for it ,you don't need to try and over smart your seniors ,respect him/her and you will do just alright.

Well you will slowly get more clear about it in college, this is not ragging actually but a good way to get yourself mixed up with people . it simply means that if you are in a society(Which is really good) and they happen to practice GPL, then you would be begging GOD that your birthday was on a holiday, because if not then you would be called by a group of seniors and kicked on your ass for about a minute,( basically an evolution of birthday bumps😂😂 ) and then very nicely wished happy birthday!!, so basically you only need to fear a minute of your birthday at DTU .
So you see RAGGING - here at DTU is an alternate way of getting to know you ,it widens your connections, so don't be afraid and just pray that your birthday falls on a holiday😂😂😂come on ROFL with me at this guys .
